This Community is awesome!

I live in a very small community in the midwest and there aren't many "artists" here. Nothing like this place.

I've worked in the past among other artistic people in large metro-areas and was always inspired by their work and contributions.
I joined DeviantArt a couple of years ago but unfortunately was not active in the community until just recently. Something about time and my "real job".

I'm kind of an old fart and remember when "the world wide web" wasn't. I was astounded when finally being able to view page after page of information from all corners of the world. To this day I'm still amazed at the plethera of information available to us just a "click" away!

Now, this art community, DeviantArt, is just as vast as I remember the when discovering the web. I joke with a very close relative about my mission to see "every" page on the internet! With the number of deviations being submitted on a daily basis to this web site alone, I'm going to have to throw in the towel and realize that mission will never happen.

I have yet to break a 1000 page views, but I'm trying! It's easy to get detoured and "hang out" in someone's gsllery when you discover the TALENT that lies within these pages.

I'm so thankful that there are artists around the world that share their God given talents with us here on and some take the time to even explain their proccess and give tutorials. What a great community!!!

I'm also still working on all the tricks of being able to post "thumbs" and "stamps" and other misc. info in my journals(any help would be accepted...lol
